I have to say that two games in one month though it plenty for me. MGS4 and AITD are going to keep me pretty busy.

And thought the same thing. Reviewers can be overly critical and enter emotion into game reviews and make them out to be bad when in fact they are not. Especially when it comes to exclusive games. I think seeing the Haze debacle was enough for me to see that emotion gets involved way too often in reviews and it shouldn't.
Isn't the PS2 winning? I mean, if we can include the Wii in the next gen race then why not throw in the PS2. They both have about the same quality of games but the PS2 has plenty more and is still selling like hot-cakes.
In the end, what really matters is that WE win the console war. We gamers have games to play and everything else is fluff.

They have lost all credibility and hold no merit in my gaming enjoyment. As far as I am concerned, I will rent as many games as I can to rate them myself and play the games I like and send back the games I do not. Truthfully, only sheep and fanboys need reviews to justify their gaming purchases.
If that is what he believes then so be it. This is America and people are granted the rights to believe in whatever they want. If you do not believe it then move along and ignore what you have heard. If it bothers you then perhaps you need to look deeper into what it is about what he said that bothers you. If you didn't believe it then why get so upset about it?
I actually like the idea of in-game footage in the same resolution that it would be seen on my TV playing in my own console. You just can't get that from a magazine and so this will be something I will definitely consider.
Well, I certainly hope so 'cause the first one left me slightly underwhelmed. Sorry, but the game was just "ok".
I buy BD's over DVD's now and love it. I know upscaled DVD's look ok but I like to think of it in terms of, I didn't spend thousands of dollars on my 1080p HDTV only to upsample. Sorry, but it's BD or nothing for me now. Once I tasted the HD look, I can't go back to the grainy look ever again.
The PS3 looks sharper yet lacks some stuff like telephone lines and such while the 360 version looks darker and full of fog and has a lack of c0ckpit views. Sorry, but they both look like junk.
